It also distributes electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components and materials, leveraging both in‑house and customer‑supplied resources. Following recent acquisitions in Germany, the group now serves customers across diverse end markets, including HVAC, vending machines, fitness equipment, industrial machinery, cranes, special vehicles and marine applications. With approximately 550 employees operating across five sites in three countries, the organization generates annual revenues of around €50 million. As a private equity‑owned roll‑up, it is positioned for continued growth through additional follow‑on acquisitions in the coming years.Job DescriptionThe Chief Financial Officer will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for all financial functions of the group as well as IT systems and data management. Core responsibilities include financial planning, consolidation, controlling and accounting, managing banking relationships and supporting M&A transactions to drive inorganic growth. The role also covers HR administration, internal controls, compliance and oversight across multiple international sites.What You Will DoDesign, structure and optimise accounting and reporting processes for the entire group, particularly in transfer pricing and post‑merger integration.Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reporting, consolidation and cash flow planning.Implement and enhance modern controlling and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, LucaNet).Manage communication with banks, investors and other stakeholders.Play an active role in M&A activities, including due diligence, post‑merger integration and financing structuring.Provide targeted operational support to subsidiaries on financial and process optimisation topics.Preferred CapabilitiesSeveral years of experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role in a mid‑sized company, ideally in a private‑equity environment.Industry knowledge in industrial sectors or project‑based business models is required.In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, HGB, consolidation, working capital management and liquidity control.Confident use of IT systems (e.g., LucaNet, PowerBI, MS Excel) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).Experience in digitalising financial processes and implementing new systems.Strong negotiation skills with banks, auditors and investors.Demonstrated ability to lead with a structured and analytical approach, operating independently with strong results orientation, cultural adaptability, resilience and high accountability, while remaining comfortable with ambitious stretch targets.Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; German a strong advantage; French a plus.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within a complex organisational structure.Strong knowledge of the needs and expectations of investors and shareholders.Successful in working within an international context, within a diverse range of cultures and environments.What's on OfferGreat career opportunity.
