The Equipment Inspectors are part of our Detailed Equipment Information (DEI) team, responsible for performing accurate and thorough visual inspections and functional testing on heavy equipment.
Responsibilities

Gather and verify equipment inventory information (e.g., contract proofs, additions, serial numbers).
Identify and record equipment components, accessories, and asset details.
Verify equipment descriptions based on our Equipment Standards Manual.
Ensure the quality of equipment data and related information.
Verify warranty applicable items and related requirements.
Compose and take photos of the equipment.
Provide assistance to the DEI team as needed.
Assist the Sales team with appraisals and write‑ups in the field between peak periods.
Promote a culture where the health and safety of employees and customers is a top priority.
Support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: send everyone home each day by taking personal responsibility for safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Fluency in Italian and/or English.
Prior experience in equipment management (inspections, inventory, appraisals) or inventory control, preferably in the auction or heavy equipment business.
Knowledge of industrial and/or agricultural equipment, trucks and trailers.
Proficiency using computers and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and digital cameras.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including use of two‑way radio and desk phone.
Good penmanship for clear writing and printing.
Excellent organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and commitment to accuracy.
Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Strong time‑management skills to multitask and prioritize work.
A strong customer service orientation.
