Responsabilità
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing innovative and customized formulations for savory applications.
As a Food Technologist - Savory Formulation Specialist, you will play a central role in the development and innovation of Savory platform. Your main responsibilities will include:

Developing and optimizing innovative, tailored formulations.
Exploring new application concepts aligned with current market trends.
Collaborating with the Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Quality/Regulatory teams to ensure projects are compliant and cohesive.
Providing technical and application support to customers and partner companies, with a specific focus on savory applications (e.g., meat, ready meals, pasta, sauces).
Monitoring competitors and attending national and international trade fairs to keep our product portfolio up to date.
Visiting customers with the sales team and contributing to their technical training.
Supporting the maintenance of ISO and IFS certifications through innovation projects and the use of ERP and database systems.
Supporting cross-divisional innovation projects across the Food, Nutraceutical, and Cosmetics sectors.

Requisiti
We are looking for a curious, proactive, and team-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and empathy. Someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to contribute to the success of an ambitious team.

A degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field. A Master’s degree or PhD is a strong plus.
At least 5 years of experience in structured companies, preferably in the meat, ready meals, or pasta sectors.
Proven expertise in formulation and product development.
Good IT skills and confidence in working with ERP and database systems.
A minimum B2 level of English. The interview will be conducted in English.
Solid theoretical knowledge in instrumental, rheological, and sensory analysis.
Strong interpersonal and professional abilities, including effective communication, creativity, time management, lateral thinking, and problem-solving.
An entrepreneurial mindset, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

A residence within one hour of Milan or the willingness to relocate. The role requires at least three days of presence in the lab, with the possibility of two days of remote work.
