You will report to the Nuclear Operations Manager and be located at our facility in Monfalcone, Italy. You will have a hybrid working schedule of up to 3 days per week onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesAssure safety, health and regulatory compliance within the group and within the work producedGuide the implementation of clear and reliable manufacturing standardsMonitor the shop execution to identify gaps compared to the standards and propose the corrective actionsDrive Innovation and identify improvements to existing manufacturing processes prioritizing automation initiativesImplementation and integration of the Global Competency Model into all aspects of managing personnelAssure that the Industrial Engineering team is equipped with appropriate processes and the right tools to understand, monitor and define the manufacturing processesEstablish priorities and align resources to achieve business objectivesManage direct reports in their respective responsibilities to achieve yearly goalsPropose Investments initiatives to improve manufacturing processesConduct periodic performance reviews with all direct reportsQualificationsMaster Degree in Engineering12+ years of Engineering/Manufacturing experience with 5 years in leadership in mechanical and manufacturing environmentExperience in welding, carpentry and machining manufacturing processesLook for opportunities to improve manufacturing processesDrive process decisionsUse each team member to their fullest potentialMotivate team to work togetherKeep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team membersExperienced in working with and managing multicultural teamsCoach, develop, mentor employees and support succession planningItalian and English (C1 advanced level)Why Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
