This marks the beginning of the production phase for Energy Dome and the first step toward internalizing the manufacturing of some of our most strategic components.We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design & Project Engineer to join our team and take a central role in the design and execution of the gas holder system at our new Piacenza facility.You will be responsible for 3D mechanical design and will oversee the technical coordination of suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.The ideal candidate combines strong CAD modeling skills with a pragmatic approach to project execution, including local and international travel when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical components and assemblies for gas holder systems using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.)Translate functional requirements into mechanical solutions and technical drawingsInterface with suppliers and fabrication partners, both locally and abroadSupport procurement activities with technical documentation and specificationsParticipate in installation supervision, testing, and commissioning when requiredEnsure alignment between design, quality, cost, and project timelinesWhat We’re Looking For< 5 years of experience in mechanical designStrong skills in 3D CAD designAbility to manage and follow up on external suppliers and subcontractorsWillingness to travel occasionally both within Italy and internationallyProactive mindset, flexibility, and ability to work cross-functionallyThe role is based full-time in Piacenza (PC), Italy.Company’s culture and further opportunitiesEnergy Dome is a young but fast-growing company, and we are constantly looking for professionals who want to grow with us and support us in structuring and organizing the main processes and projects.
