We are looking for a motivated NPI Engineering Specialist to join our team in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo), playing a key role in new product introduction and the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities

Act as the main interface between R&D and Operations to orchestrate structured technical feedback to global R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams during the New Products Introduction (NPI) phase
Lead and coordinate cross-functional NPI activities between R&D and Operations to ensure seamless product industrialization
Be directly involved in shopfloor-based product development, supporting and monitoring assembly and build activities across all NPI phases
Recommend and implement improvement projects, applying lean principles and digital solutions to optimize NPI processes
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to enhance manufacturability, standardization, and achieve cost targets
Assess alternative components and review technical solutions to address quality and sourcing challenges
Validate Manufacturing BOM (from Engineering BOM), electrical schematics and mechanical drawings ensuring robust configuration management for both new and existing products
Initiate and support change management activities on existing products, ensuring technical and documentation accuracy and completeness

Background

Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Aerospace) or equivalent 4-5 years of experience in product development organizations
Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams within multicultural environments
Fluency in English and Italian, with strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving
Experience in NPI and industrialization of complex products is a plus
Knowledge of fast prototyping solutions (Additive manufacturing e.g. 3D printing) is a plus
