Procurement Category Lead Technology Senior Manager
Accenture Procurement Plus is seeking an experienced and driven Category Manager Technology to lead our Italian technology category operations. This role plays a critical part in executing global and regional strategies at a local level, ensuring value delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and supplier performance across the Technology category.
Responsibilities

Lead implementation of the global/regional Technology category strategy at the country/market unit level, building and managing the local category Procurement Plus Technology team and initiatives.
Implement global and regional sourcing strategies within the local market, driving cost savings, service excellence, compliance, and supporting local business planning, budgeting, and strategic decision‑making.
Support pipeline planning and forecasting of sourcing activities and implement supplier KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure effective contract implementation and usage of preferred buying channels, design RFPs, and conduct competitive sourcing processes.

Qualifications

At least 9 years’ experience in procurement or category management, including project leadership in the IT industry and Technology categories.
Comfortable working in a matrix organization, with strong stakeholder and team management skills (on‑shore & near‑shore).
Analytical, presentation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
Relationship management skills and a proactive customer‑focused approach.
Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach, and prioritize tasks appropriately.
Degree and fluent in English.
