Through our expertise in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we are uniquely positioned to innovate across the full spectrum of healthcare solutions today to deliver breakthroughs of tomorrow and profoundly impact health for humanity.Job FunctionSupply Chain EngineeringPackaging Design EngineeringJob Sub FunctionPackaging Design EngineeringJob CategoryScientific/TechnologyLocationsBeerse, Antwerp, BelgiumBreda, NetherlandsGurabo, Puerto RicoUnited States of America – Titusville, New JerseyUnited States of America – Guaynabo, Puerto RicoLatinaItalySchaffhausen, SwitzerlandAbout the RoleYour role: Technical Lead, Product Artwork – based in Titusville, New Jersey with alternate locations in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary subject‑matter expert for technical aspects of Product Artwork and automation.Coordinate and troubleshoot all technical aspects of Product Artwork, providing strategic guidance and operational support to stakeholders and business partners.Work with Packaging Sites, LOCs and external partners to support technical and automated artwork template corrections and inquiries.Review technical and automated artwork template files to ensure compliance with SOPs.Support automation initiatives within the artwork management system (ArcTiC/Esko) and partner with cross‑functional teams.Develop and create automated artwork templates and ensure timely, compliant delivery that meets all HA and company standards.Leverage innovative technology and best practices to enhance operational and automation efficiency.Provide technical support and training to the Product Artwork team and business partners.Design and improve technical and automation workflows; establish KPIs with the PT team.Collaborate closely with IT, Regulatory, Quality, Packaging Sites, Brand Protection, Supply Chain, and external vendors to support seamless automation integration.Ensure adherence to artwork systems and regulatory standards; identify and mitigate technical and automation risks.Work with the Product Artwork Excellence team on quality and compliance events, performance metrics, audits, SOP development, training content, and system master data input.Benchmark best practices and innovations for all product artwork technical and automation activities.Build and maintain alliances across stakeholders and teams for effective communication and workflow integration.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Engineering, Graphic Design, or Supply Chain preferred.Experience & Skills (Required)At least 2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/regulated environment.Technical and automation experience in artwork, regulatory labeling, or packaging fields.Experience coordinating/troubleshooting artwork, regulatory labeling, and packaging design.2+ years of production‑readiness experience with artwork (preferably packaging).Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to artwork, packaging, and labeling in the pharmaceutical industry.Supply‑chain experience, including value‑chain expertise, packaging sites, MSAT external vendor management.Knowledge of end‑to‑end performance metrics within an artwork coordination team.High intellectual curiosity and ability to learn artwork processes and related supply‑chain processes.Ability to multitask, work with minimal supervision, and maintain productivity under schedule and budget constraints.Strong cross‑functional business acumen and understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of influencing without authority and managing partner relationships.PreferredExperience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.Lean/Six Sigma certification.Familiarity with artwork systems such as ArcTiC/Esko.Experience setting up KPIs.CompensationAnticipated base pay range: $79,000 – $120,700.BenefitsEligible for the company’s consolidated retirement plan, 401(k), and long‑term incentive program.
