Your journey starts here.Job Summary : The Tour Operations Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining operational accuracy and vendor management for all tour components within an assigned territory. Handles all aspects of key line items within the operations systems from end to end. This position owns vendor, departure-specific updates and confirmations for the assigned territory, supports secure space, and chase bids. Regularly meets with Product Managers, Designers, and Buyers to provide status updates and make relevant changes within the systems. The role aligns with the company’s Excellence and Revenue goals.Primary Functions : Builds strong relationships with vendors through clear communication to confirm and update tour components, vendor status, and records confirmations in the systems. Attends regional meetings to support operational consistency and identify key needs and deviations. Collaborates across departments to ensure tour components are accurate and consistent, ensuring overall tour integrity for traveler satisfaction. Communicates with tour managers, buyers, product managers, and designers regarding vendor issues. Supports troubleshooting vendor issues raised by Tour Managers. Maintains and updates tour documents and supports regional team in finding backup options. Manages ongoing vendor communication, inquiries, and issues such as confirmations, questions, requests, invoices, and complaints. Adds non-required line items into the systems, including assigning services, creating suppliers, managing contracts, and scheduling side reservations. Assists with building and auditing tour components with high accuracy. Supports securing tickets for operational elements as needed. Partners with the regional team on FAMs and add dates processes. Assists with tour change updates and vendor messaging with accuracy.Knowledge and Skills : Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Experience in scheduling, logistics, supply chain, inventory, or ERP systems is a plus. High initiative, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates ownership and a proactive approach. Possesses a professional and positive demeanor. Collaborates well and fosters a cooperative environment. Must be flexible to industry changes and knowledgeable about current global events. Effective communication skills are essential. Must have high technical ability to work within proprietary systems. Proficient in MS Office.
